True to carnival & authentic
I don't turn up in everyday clothes – but in a genuine carnival costume! As clown and magician in one, I perfectly embody the spirit of carnival, with references to carnival traditions and local customs.

🎊 Carnival magician in NRW –
a crazy magic show for the fifth season!
Alaaf & Helau! Magic meets carnival fun
A carnival magic show with Clown Zauberer LIAR is a crazy stage and interactive programme for kids' carnival, carnival sessions and club parties in NRW – in a genuine carnival costume, 20 to 45 minutes long, for children aged 4 and up and mixed audiences, bookable throughout the Rhineland and the Ruhrgebiet. For 17 years I have been bringing magic and comedy to the fifth season.
My carnival magic show combines astonishing illusions with crazy humour and clowning – perfectly tailored to the carnival season. You'll find all the details about my regular magic show on the corresponding page. Whether for kids' carnival parties at nurseries and schools, club sessions or street carnival: I make sure of amazed faces and an exuberant atmosphere!
⚠️ TIP: Book early!
The carnival season (especially the “hot days” from Weiberfastnacht to Rosenmontag) is in high demand. Ideally, secure your preferred date as early as autumn!

🎪 Why a magic show is a perfect fit for carnival
Interactive & exuberant
Carnival means joining in – and that goes for my show too! Whether children on stage, adults as assistants or spontaneous gags with the audience: everyone becomes part of the carnival fun!
Flexible & uncomplicated
Carnival events often have tight schedules. My show fits in flexibly: whether a short, punchy 20 minutes or 45 minutes as the main programme – I only need 2×2 metres of space and no elaborate technical equipment!
Carnival is the time of transformation, wonder and exuberant joy – and that's exactly what the art of magic is too! My carnival magic show brings these two worlds together. With a carnival costume, crazy humour and tricks that pick up on the festive mood, every carnival event becomes a highlight.
