Clown LIAR (Michaël Prescler) is a professional children's clown from Gladbeck who performs throughout NRW. Available for children's birthday parties, nursery and school fêtes and family celebrations – a funny clown show with comedy, gags and magic for children aged 4 to 12, from about 25–30 minutes and at transparent fixed prices for children's birthday parties.

As a professional children's clown and children's magician, I have been bringing laughter, fun and good cheer to children's birthday parties, children's festivals and family events throughout North Rhine-Westphalia for over 15 years. My clown show is a colourful mix of comedy, clown gags and magic show – perfectly tailored to children aged between 4 and 12!

Clown show – more than just jokes and red noses

A clown show is pure comedy for children! Unlike a pure magic show, laughter takes centre stage here. With clownish gags, funny mishaps (planned, of course!), slapstick and lots of movement, I get the children laughing and joining in.

What makes a good clown show?

Comedy & humour: for children. No grown-up jokes, but child-friendly humour: things fall down, the clown trips, tricks go "wrong" (and then work after all) – children love all of it!

Interaction & joining in: the children are not just spectators but active participants! They come to the front, help the clown, join in with sound effects and are right in the thick of it instead of just watching.

Slapstick & action: lots of movement, funny physical comedy and action-packed moments keep the children's attention high throughout.

Clowning meets magic show: the best of both worlds: the clown does magic too – but in a clownish, funny way. As a children's magician, I surprise the children with real magical moments in which tricks sometimes go "wrong" and then work after all!

With no set-up time and an area of 2×2 metres, I can perform a show: living room, children's bedroom, party cellar, terrace, garden, large or small stage, library, kindergarten, sports hall…
How long does a performance with the clown last?
The clown show can be booked from 25/30 minutes. What makes it special?!? It fits flexibly into any event: children's birthday party, carnival party, children's festival, summer fête at a kindergarten or school, marksmen's festival, street party, company party…
What is the difference between the clown show and the magic show?
The clown show focuses more on comedy, slapstick and laughter – perfect for younger children (4-7 years). The magic show emphasises wonder and magic – ideal for older children (7-12 years). Each show contains elements of the other!
Can very shy children join in too?
Absolutely! Shy children are gently included without being pushed. Thanks to Clown LIAR's training in education, every child is brought to shine at their own pace.
Does Clown LIAR also perform at kindergartens or schools?
Yes! There are special programmes for nursery parties (20-100 children), school fêtes (30-150 pupils) and end-of-year celebrations. The show is adapted to the group size and age.
